Pretty much all night I was singing “I’m On A Boat” by The Lonely Island in my head 😉  I had my flippy floppys on…..but T-Pain was NOT on the boat so that’s where the similarities end!

Seriously though, this venue, The Kajama on Lake Ontario from the Toronto Harbour, was stunning.  I had been super excited for this wedding for a while but I had no clue how much fun I would actually have.  Shooting on a boat has its challenges but it was so worth it!  Jen and Rob, the entire bridal party and family were fabulous to work with.  The weather was perfect, the breeze was tropical and I kinda didn’t want the night to end!

Boys and their swords 😉   Everyone was so much fun and Janet and I laughed and smiled the night away.  Thanks so much Jen and Rob for letting us be a part of such a unique experience.  It’s a wedding I will not soon forget.

It was VERY hard for me to pick what to show on the blog for this session.  I am in love with so many of the images!  This family has grown quite close to my heart in the last years.  I have watched them grow, move houses, study to further their careers and start their own small business.  It’s amazing to me, still, after all of these years, that I have such loyal and wonderful clients.  I smile every time I get to see this bunch.  The kids are some of the best kiddos I know and the little guy, Mr. M., is one of the best huggers ever!!!

Have a great day 🙂

Such a cutie 🙂  It was mom and dad’s idea to use a big rhubarb leaf they had in one of the photos and it turned out great!

Thanks for stopping by 🙂

Little A has a whole bunch to live up to.  Her big sis L is an inspiration to all who have met her and is loved and admired by so many people I wondered how Miss A was going to find her own way in this family 🙂  Well, wonder no more!  Her special contribution is to make you grin from ear to ear, non-stop.  Best. Faces. EVER.  You could be having the worst day of your life, then take one look at this girl and your day turns right around.

Just a note to all the photographer’s that follow my blog.   We as a community can help parents keep their children safe from a horrible kind of childhood cancer.  It’s called Retinoblastoma.  If you ever see a white pupil or “cat’s eye” in a photograph you have taken in low light or with direct flash, please inform the parents right away.  This is one of the easiest ways to tell if something is not right.  It’s not an easy thing to do but you could be saving a young child’s sight and life.  If all photographers are aware of this tell-tale sign of Retinoblastoma, we could be helping in the early diagnosis of this cancer.  And as with all cancers, the earlier the diagnosis, the better for the victim.  Thank you.
