Getting referrals is amazing.  It means so many different things.  It means my current clients have enough confidence in me to pass my name along and it also means that new clients have the faith that they have now chosen the right person for their memories.  I usually ask where people heard about me and it always amazes me how one mom, told another mom and the other Grandma told this mom and so on.  In this instance…it’s so very nice to be talked about 😉

This family was a hoot.  The kids did a fabulous job and the rain and wind held off!!

I truly love the last one ♥  Brother and sisterly love.

Cortnee and Jeff are huge baseball/softball fans and I was so happy to incorporate some of that into their shots 🙂  It’s something a little different and unique and that is a big part of their lives so it worked out perfectly.

Cortnee had her Mom’s and Grandma’s dresses at the house so we got a shot of all three together.

Miss C turns 3!!  Three things I ♥ about Miss C…..

1. Her toothy grin and contagious giggle.

2. Her perfectly imperfect curls.

3. Watching her grow from a teeny little baby into a little lady before my eyes.

My fav F fam recently bought a cottage and we did C’s session and a family session up there.  I can see why they have fallen in love with it and the area.  You really can’t go wrong being on Georgian Bay!

One of the bunkies….

You may look at the above photo and think….why would she post an image like this?  It’s not perfect, one kid isn’t looking and the baby is grabbing the boys’ nose!  This is the perfectly imperfect F family 😉

I wasn’t available to shoot Kate and Darren’s wedding so I was so excited and honoured when she asked me to the trash the dress session with her the day after.   I made the trip up to Port Sydney to the Trillium Resort and Spa and it’s a beautiful location.  They had the resort all to themselves for their wedding weekend and we could have spent all day going to different spots.

I’m telling you, Kate is a TROOPER!!!  That water was soooooo cold.  I went in up to my knees and my tooties were freezing…..  She was determined to do it and we did it!  Her cousin/sis in law (they’re from Orillia so that’s kinda normal 😉 ) got married in July and did her trash the dress a few days later.  BIG difference in temperatures I tell ya.  Thanks guys for having me share some of your precious alone time in the woods!

I have photographed this family since little R was 6 months old…..from the moment you meet them you can’t help but notice that Corrinn and Randy were meant for each other.  It may have taken a while for him to make it official but it’s all part of Randy’s charm 😉  Intimate, personal, hilarious are just some of the words to describe the day.  The wedding party was fabulous and you could tell each and every one of them was incredibly special to the bride and groom.

They had these crazy cool sky lanterns to send off into the sky after dark.  You light the bottom pad and it fills

up like a hot air balloon and flies away.  I highly recommend them!!!

Corrinn made the gorgeous cake and all of the details were also done by her.  She really out did herself!  And I finally got to sample some of Randy’s cooking skills….the fish he prepared for the late night snack was amazing.  Thanks so much guys for having me, it was really great for me to see all three of you become legit 😉
