Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Bawcutt 🙂

Their perfect September wedding was amazing.  The ceremony was at Trafalgar Castle and it was just stunning.  Then off to The Royal Ashburn Golf Club for the reception.  I had seen pictures of the castle before and have always wanted to visit so I was super excited to be able to do a few photos inside.  The grand entrance and staircase was breathtaking!  Thanks so much Jaime and Paul for having us.  We photographed Jaime’s sister’s wedding last February and I was honoured that they chose me to work with them as well.  Both of their families were so welcoming and I’m looking forward to seeing them all again at their good friend’s wedding that I will be photographing next year 🙂

Imagine Jenn’s and my surprise as we met for our initial “meeting” that we would be running into each other again after 10 years!  Jenn and I used to work together at a Muskoka resort a decade ago and we haven’t seen each other since.  I was so happy to see her as I remember her as a 16 year old busser turned server who was always a hard worker and knew her stuff.  She had no clue it was me she was meeting with and vice versa!  Well, she’s all grown up now, being a teacher and getting married and all that stuff 🙂  She’s marrying a super funny, down to Earth guy and I couldn’t be happier for them.

Can’t wait for the wedding next year 🙂

I believe this ceremony location may have been the most romantic spot ever.  It was held at the Niagara Botanical Gardens at the Willow Pond.  In the shade of a huge old willow tree Carlee and Trevor exchanged vows and made us laugh and cry with their honest and beautiful ceremony.  Trevor is the “little” brother of a friend of mine and it was an honour to be able to photograph his wedding.  He is such an amazing young man, with a heart of gold, who loves his family and his friends with all of his being.  Him and his wife Carlee are on the adventure of a lifetime as they try to embark on their new careers as teachers.  I’m sure they will both be successful in this field as soon as someone gives them a chance!  I would be delighted if my guys could have teachers like themselves who are so enthusiastic, determined and have a love of life, art and people.  Carlee put so many personal touches on everything for this wedding….everyone was impressed with her little touches and it made it such a personal affair for all of the guests.

Thanks so much Carlee and Trevor for having me!

Once upon a time, a group of women and their devoted hubbys met at a class, preparing for the births of their first children.  Bonding ensued, children were born and playmates for life were made 🙂  A few years later, 4 out of the 5 women all had their second babies within months of each other!  Bright and earlier one Sunday morning we attempted to capture this special friendship 🙂

I’m not sure if anyone has tried to photograph 4 kids under 1 before…. 😉

So, five 2 year olds and four infants…..I had a workout that day for sure!!
