Sunday held a lot of “firsts” for me. First time shooting a Jewish wedding, first time I photographed 2 weddings in 1 weekend, first time at The Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington and the most strange one for me, it was the first time I was a second shooter. I was pretty excited to do it though. No editing, just being there without the pressure and without having to be the “boss”. Well, I had to admit something about myself for the first time as well. I’m very a teensy bit controlling!!! I quickly realized that if I’m not in control, I can’t relax! I LIKE being the boss 🙂 Working with Shana was great, please don’t get me wrong…..but when you have your own business and are used to being the one who calls the shots it takes a while to get used to the fact that you can’t or should not do that! I hate stepping on other peoples toes so Sunday was full of lessons for me, professionally and personally.
Thank you Ashley and Avi for having me second shoot your wedding. I had a lot fun and everything was gorgeous. Shana, thanks for being such a great “boss” , hope I was a good “employee”!!!
One last parting shot.
Best. Cuff links. Ever.

These shots are beautiful! Some of those look like they should be on the cover of a bridal magazine or something! Our families LOVED you and working with you. We are so glad that you and Shana agreed to work together, I couldn’t imagine having anyone other than you two! Once again, thank you for being a wonderful photographer, and a friend to our family!
With love,
Ashley and Avi
ps. I didn’t know about those cufflinks until afterwards….that’s Aron for ya!
Thanks Ashley! I was sworn not to tell you about the cufflinks on the wedding day…I didn’t say I would NEVER tell you about them 😉
