This time of year always seems to sneak up on me but man, this year seems worse then others!  It’s like just last week Ty was headed back to school and we were getting ready for Fall.

The A family home was all decorated and looked so warm and inviting and Christmasy!  It was a great start to my very busy day 🙂

Tomorrow we have the little sis’ family pics 🙂

Big sis V was telling me all about Daddy’s new pride and joy….and it’s not about her baby sister, it’s the new car he won!  It’s a gorgeous yellow Camaro and it looks like Bumblebee from transformers but V was concerned that it didn’t actually turn into a robot 🙂

V and I have a date in year.  We are going to have pepperoni and bacon pizza and probably play princess 🙂

Have a great day and remember to thank the men and women who have given their lives and time to protecting us and others who have don’t have the same freedoms as we do.

One of the best things about my “job” is meeting really great people.  I know we’ve all heard the horror stories of bridezillas and picky moms and crazy relatives but honestly, I have never encountered that.  Every one of my clients has been awesome and I truly love being welcome into their homes and being a part of special events in their lives.

I got a request to photograph the 93rd birthday of one of my Alliston mom’s Grandma.  I was so excited to go and be a part of this event!  Not many people get to celebrate this milestone and I was honoured to be able to capture it for Mildred and her whole family.  Once I got there I also learned that it was Linda and Martin’s 30th wedding anniversary too!  They are both such wonderful people and you can tell that everyone there held a special place in their hearts for Grandma Mildred and their Aunt Linda and Uncle Marty.

Before we get to the pics, I do need to throw this out there……I am available any time for those super cool sleepovers at Aunt Linda and Uncle Marty’s house 🙂

The event was held at the gorgeous Red Crest Cardinal Golf Club.

At the S household I have learned that hunting, Bass Pro and fishing are the way of life so when Dad blurted this out as he got off the phone it didn’t phase me in the least!  After a few chuckles he explained that a beaver kept making a dam and flooding a local farmers field so after  some wheeling and dealing and agreements on some new hunting territory I quickly did the whole family pics so he could find this beaver 🙂

I just had to get a shot of Morgan’s paws.  They are huge and beautiful and pack a mean punch when he greets you at the door!

And I had to include the pic I took of the deer on the front lawn of Millhaven Maximum Security Prison for Randy to have a look at……I shot this deer with a camera, not a bow 🙂

Ahhhh, little baby girls just have a way of grabbing your heart strings don’t they?  The cute clothes, the angel faces and the feeling like you want one too….ummmmm, I didn’t really mean that, right?!   Mom and I were talking about all the pink and how you always say you won’t dress your little girl in pink all the time and everything they own will not be pink……but it happens anyway!!!  It’s really too cute not to 🙂

I have done the “rings on the babies toes” shot once before…..and it’s not an easy shot, especially when the baby is awake!  Mom and Dad had seen the shot in a magazine and had asked me to try and capture it for them!  So we tried once when baby M was awake and then a few more once she had dozed off.  They turned out much better once she was sleeping 🙂  This particular shot is great to show the kids once they grow up, just how tiny their precious toes once were.
