By the lovely and talented Tajé McIntosh!!!  My job honestly rocks but when I get to photograph delicious desserts and then actually eat them, my job gets that much better 🙂

Tajé makes incredible desserts for all occasions.  She makes a truly spectacular cheesecake which can make non-cheesecake lovers (like myself) into cheesecake lovers but can also pass any cheesecake connoisseur taste test.  She puts her magic into everything she makes and I am personally guaranteeing that you will LOVE anything she makes.  She does take orders and you can reach her at    intoxicatingdesserts@gmail.com .

Below are just a sampling of what she can do.

Baileys Bites…….ummmm super delicious.

Cheesecake cupcakes….. aka Two Bites of Heaven are ridiculously good, needed waaaaaaaaaaaaay more then 2 and think about these almost daily.

Mini Cheesecakes.

Red Velvet Cake

And the Cupcake Cake….love the Cupcake Cake!

Again, this is just a very small tease of what Tajé can do and if you would like anything or have any questions for her just email her and she’ll be more than happy to help you out.  Her website is under construction but will be up and running and full of pictures soon, I will keep you all posted as to when that is.

Have a great day 🙂

I love when we find new places to shoot especially since we had agreed to meet here without really knowing what was there and if there would be any great spots.  Richmond Green is in Richmond Hill and I cannot believe the space this sports park has.  There are rocks and waterfalls and old buildings and gardens, it really is a gem in the city.  I hope I can shoot there again one day when it’s a little warmer 😉

The S family was great.  The kids are full of energy and loved finding the huge pile of dirty leaves and running around the park.  It had gotten quite chilly by the time we started the session but the kids didn’t seem to care one bit!  And of course we had the promise of a quick visit to the playground in our back pocket for fantastic co-operation!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day 🙂

These guys are fast, love soccer and footballs and had me laughing.  That’s one thing about photographing kids.  It keeps me on my toes and keeps me giggling.  The old saying is never work with kids and animals…..but if one never worked with kids or animals, ones life would be boring and meaningless 🙂

See you tomorrow!

As with snowflakes, no two kids are the same.  Some are all smiles and super comfy with me right off the bat, a very few never really relax and we work around them clinging to mom and then there are the kids who take a little bit to warm up but once they do….watch out!!!  Having 2 kids helps me big time when I am trying to relate to the under 5 crowd.  My usual go to things are video games, certain toys and of course TV 🙂  Mom and dad had warned me that it may take a few minutes for little E to feel comfy with me so I started thinking of things to chat about with her that would make her know that I was cool and I could be trusted.  Well, it didn’t take long for me to find out that we both love Pablo from the Backyardigans.  So we bonded over Backyardigans and talked about all the characters and how Tasha was too Princessy for our liking and Uniqua was pretty cool and how my little boy has the same name as Austin but my son isn’t pruple….you know, regular 3 year old gossip 😉

Okay, I must tell you before hand that I have known mom for years and years so what I say next might not seem so creepy.  I would like to munch on little M.  Truly.  Her cheeks, her legs, her little fingers…all of it.  She’s a little bundle of milk chocolately goodness and I would like to bring her home.   But just for a few hours as she’s at about the same stage as my youngest and one can only take so much “I’m the boss and not you” attitude!!!  I got to run my fingers through her fantastic hair and even attempted to persuade mom and dad to let her have her hair a little  wild…..I managed to grab a few shots before the elastic went in and the pony tail took over 😦

Once we were done the family stuff I got to photograph some of mom’s sweet sweet desserts she makes.  She will be featured on the  blog next week with those.  I can tell you that she made me into a cheesecake lover and that is not an easy task.  All I kept thinking once I tasted one of the cupcakes was, “WOW I really should have taken more home!”

See you tomorrow!

Yep, she’s a puppy!  A huge, lovable 8 month old puppy who weighs more than my full grown 90lb yellow lab.

When I pulled up to the house I had a photographers eyegasm as I saw their back garage.  It was old and peeling paint and all I saw was texture, colour and a shot of the kids against it.  I mentioned it to mom and she started laughing saying she HATED the garage and it was the only part of the house she wouldn’t mind never seeing again!  It just goes to show how differently people see things.  I think it was perfect, especially with the Santa hats, it made the red paint peeking through even better!

The kids were adorable, the puppy was adorable and their house was beautiful….it was a great start to my looooooooooooong day!

Tell me you didn’t just say “awww” out loud!

Thanks for stopping by today 🙂
