Okay, I made a mistake!  I thought we’d have plenty of light at 5:30 for the shoot but of course we didn’t actually start shooting until closer to 6 and then as we’re walking through the forest and it’s getting darker and darker, I’m thinking “uh oh”.  But we got it done, some with a little more flash then I like to use but we did it!

The B family rocked it and we had a nice walk through the Simcoe County forest, which is literally right down the street from both of us.  We pretended we were walking through the forest with the Cullens and we even found the “meadow” that every teen girl (and some adult women!)wishes she could meet her Edward in. It was actually a clearing where they had recently done some logging but whatever, we used our imaginations 🙂

When I pulled up to the A house I knew instantly I would get along with them.  I LOVE Halloween decorating.  I have taken a hiatus the last few years as I want to do it big or nothing so I am building up the arsenal each year…..well the A’s have it all!  The house looked super scary and Mom had things I didn’t even know you could buy for Halloween…I was very impressed!

The kids were a blast to hang out with and I think they had fun too 🙂  I love Fall and everything that goes with it.  The colours of course but I love the crisp evenings, the rosey cheeks and the anticipation of the coming holidays.

Here are a few shots we grabbed at the house and at the park across the street…enjoy!

Little M’s Grandpa has the most beautiful property.  There are two huge ponds, about 10 acres of property with tons of trees with fabulous red leaves.  It was so nice to see the K family again.  It’s been about a year and M has grown up sooooo much!  One thing that has not changed is his truly stunning eyes 🙂

This little guy is super sweet, super busy and was super tired the morning of our shoot.  It always seems the day of a session something comes up….no naps….a big fall, it’s all part of life that just happens to happen when you try to “plan” things when you have kids!  We managed to get a few great shots anyway, so here are just a few.

Deb and Greg booked me over a year ago and since that very first meeting I knew their wedding would be some of my best work yet.  They are both so in love with each other and it just seemed like they meshed and made their decisions together and worked well off of each other.  I have worked with Deb since that first meeting quite a few times.  I shot both of her showers and her Uncle’s wedding in July.  Her whole family has been so wonderful with me and they have made me feel at home and at ease no matter what the occasion or setting.  I get to know a lot of clients very well and you learn a lot about them in a short period of time when you share such intimate moments with them such as weddings.  The title of the blog post “One lucky guy” refers to a part of Deb’s speech that got everyone laughing.  I 100% agree with her!  But I do have to say that Greg has a point as well…..Deb’s a pretty lucky girl too 🙂

That’s it for now!  I do have some more that I would like to post so I will get those up as soon as I can.  I haven’t even taken a peek at Janet’s pics (my lovely second shooter) and I know she has some really great shots too.  She was in charge of the boys….hence the many pics of the girls from me 🙂

Thanks for stopping by and if you’d like to tell me what you think…leave a comment!
