“Rockin’ Robin” (tweet tweet tweet!!!) was the song that the McNeice’s sang when Bob Robins (Mike’s dad) came to get Barb for dates.  I will never forget those stories, so I think the title is very appropriate.  Bob would have absolutely loved Ashley ♥

Okay, here are some “just for fun” pics from Mike and Ashley’s wedding.  The bouquet toss pics need a lot of work but they were too funny not to include right now 🙂

Whew!  Done….

I tried a few new processing tricks so let me know if you like it or not…or which you like the best!

And yes, I am lying on the floor in the middle of a circle surrounded by crazy, drunk people in the last shot.   It’s okay, I can say that…they are family!

Have a great weekend 🙂

It finally happened….they are hitched and it was beautiful!!!

Michael, Mike, Mikey, “Trixie”…..whatever you may have called him throughout the years you can always call him a stand up man.  He is the biggest goofball with the  biggest heart.  He has been the rock in his family for years and he has been the source of laughter since he was a baby having conversations with his “friend”in the mirror 🙂  Weddings are always emotional to me, whether I know the couple or not…..but my heart just swelled with warmth when I got to see Mike marry the girl of his dreams.  Ashley and Mike are really a match made in heaven.  They are the very best of friends and so comfortable and always themselves around eachother.  Ashley was stunning and I was honoured to be able to be with her on one of the most important days of her life.

Now I know the McNeices are saying “enough already get to the pictures”…so here are some.  I promise to post more later 🙂

This is Greer…Mike and Ashley’s doggie.  He was super great and let me take these photos of him with the rings.  Greer is a very important part of Mike and Ashley’s life so it only made sense to get him to participate a bit!!!

Now that they are up here I have noticed some strange colouring that wasn’t visible in Photoshop so I will try to fix that for later!!!  But enjoy what’s up so far and have a fantastic day 🙂

I think generation photos are one of those things that are often forgot about and certainly not done enough of.  If you are lucky enough to have 3 or 4 generations of girls or guys in your family you should seriously consider getting some photos taken.  These photos will not only be cherished by you but also by your children and their children and so on.  It’s like a little history lesson on glossy paper!

These gorgeous women rocked the camera 🙂  Mom is an old friend of mine and I haven’t seen her mom in years (not since our little trip to a “bar” in downtown Toronto when Tasha and I were 20 or so….fun times!)  Boy, have times changed though ladies.  So much has happened in life since then and nothing greater then having three beautiful little girls.

This little cutie is the product of an old friend of mine and her hubby who we went to high school with 🙂  I haven’t seen them in forever so it was super nice to be able to spend a few hours with them and to meet their sweet Lilo!

I also got to go downtown (Toronto) which I don’t get to do very often.  I very rarely miss being near Toronto but it is very nice to visit and get the rush from so many different people around, so many smells and shops and picture opportunities!  We walked to the park near by and had a great time playing and running and feeding the pigeons Goldfish crackers 🙂  I love being able to meet and photograph so many of my older friends’ children.  You can see them so clearly in their kids’ eyes and faces and it never seizes to amaze me.

I don’t take this job lightly….I know how important these pictures will be to my friends and clients.  I look back at my baby/kid pictures all the time and love seeing what I once was.  Sometimes shoots don’t always go as planned, sometimes baby/child doesn’t want to get their pics taken, sometimes they are all smiles until I put the camera up to my face, sometimes they’re okay until we try to get some of the whole family or sometimes they are just shy and it takes a good half hour to warm up to me but there is always, no matter what, pictures that will melt your heart.  That is why having a photographer come to your house or going to a familiar location is the best way to truly capture your child.  It’s not the “cheese” smile you want, it’s the true story of your child at that particular moment in their lives.

I need to add that I did absolutely nothing to the colour of her eyes…it’s all natural!
