First time ever holding twins, first time ever photographing newborn twins, first time witnessing the incredible bond that twins share at the early stages of their lives. These little girls are identical and the only way we can tell them apart is their matching “stork bite” birth marks are slightly different. When they are together it’s easier to tell who is who but when they are separate….it takes a minute or two! On a side note, I made the two hats they are wearing especially for them and I am SO happy that they fit!!

Big sister who is 2!

I have said it before…parents of multiples are angels. Raising one baby at a time is hard enough. Raising two or more is just crazy to me. I hope mom and dad can look at these images when the girls are older and remember the quiet, sleepy, snuggly babies they once had and not just the chaos that is their daily life now

Late Fall gets really really chilly here and most sessions have to be moved indoors. This family braved a bit of chilliness to have a great walk and get some shots outside. It was great to be shooting outside again

I don’t usually share baby’s names but I just had to with this little guy. Maximus. Daddy is known as Superman and Maximus is certainly Super baby

He has his first Hugh Hefner lounge jacket :)

We were dancing and singing and playing the Dora guitar! Good times in the M house

Anyone who knows this family knows that the above image is a total mommy look! I saw it and it instantly took me back to high school with a young, feisty, honest and hilarious young girl who is now a beautiful momma with two gorgeous children.

There are often times I want to eat babies. Not in a zombie, whacko way, more in a “just a little nibble” way. Rolly polly thighs are like magnets to my pearly whites This little cub is the famous “spoon baby”. Yup. We put her in a giant spoon. Mom and Dad blew that shot up and it is in their living room and it looks amazing! See, adorable baby in spoon….want to eat her! Well, it’s been a few months and she can no longer sleep in the spoon but I still want to nibble those cheeks of hers

She kind of looks like she’s doing a muscle man pose here. I can just imagine her saying “grrrr, don’t mess with the cub”.

Sometimes parents are caught up in getting the perfect picture of their child. I often find that the perfect picture is the one you don’t try for. It’s the one with their mouth is open, face scrunched up, tongue out but their eyes are sparkling. That special sparkle that tells you they are children with the love of life in them.
